Planned Giving

The Golden Retriever, renowned for its affable nature and unwavering loyalty, has woven itself into the tapestry of our lives, earning an indelible place in our hearts. For those who have been touched by the companionship and joy these dogs bring, there exists an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy through thoughtful planning. Consider designating the Golden Retriever Foundation as a beneficiary in key financial instruments such as your retirement plan, mutual fund, IRA, or life insurance policy. By doing so, you contribute to the continued welfare and betterment of this beloved breed, ensuring that future generations of Golden Retrievers find loving homes and the care they deserve. Moreover, it is prudent to incorporate these intentions into your wills and living trusts, providing a formal framework to honor your wishes and perpetuate the legacy of your admiration for these exceptional companions. Your foresight in this matter will stand as a testament to your enduring love for Golden Retrievers, leaving an enduring impact on their well-being and the community of enthusiasts who share your sentiment.

Legacy League

For each of us, the Golden Retriever has earned a special place in our hearts and our lives. Many of us long to be more like our Goldens: loving, caring, sweet with a little mischief thrown in for spice. One powerful way to share those feelings is through our Legacy League.

Do You Have The Will To Give?

An experience so many of us share is the sadness and overwhelming sense of loss of in having to say goodbye to our beloved companions, whether it be a dog you have had since puppyhood or a rescue who found a forever home. It is comforting to know that your gift can continue the mission of Research, Rescue and Education.

  • We invite you to share your intention to make a legacy donation to celebrate your commitment to Golden Retrievers.
  • Members of the Legacy League will be recognized on our Website and at the annual Golden Retriever National Specialty.
  • You will be kept informed of the ongoing work of the foundation, so you can see what your gift will support. Contact the Director of Planned Giving to discuss the many ways you can plan your gift. giving@goldenretrieverfoundation.org

Create Your Legacy Through A Planned Gift.

Charitable gifts help you meet your current philanthropic goals and extend your generosity well into the future. You should, of course, consult with your legal counsel or financial planner concerning which form of gift may be best for your personal financial and life situation.

  • Wills and Living Trusts – including the Foundation as a beneficiary of your estate or trust will benefit the breed you love so much for generations to come and may have the added benefit of an estate tax deduction for the value of your gift.
  • Gifts of Retirements Plans or Insurance – Consider naming the Golden Retriever Foundation as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, mutual fund, IRA or life insurance policy.
  • Gifts of Real Estate – several donors have made GRCA the recipient of proceeds from the sale of their house in their estate planning.
