Golden Retriever Foundation Gala
The social highlight of the Golden calendar, the Golden Retriever Foundation Gala at the GRCA National Specialty is the primary fund raising event of the year. This black tie evening features the prestigious Top Twenty conformation dog competition, selecting the best of the best from the top winning show Goldens of the year. The Gala also hosts a silent auction of selected art work with a rousing live auction of the most unique pieces. The art auctions, starting in 1998, have raised over $500,000. That equates to over one fourth of the total money given in grants -- a tremendous gift to the breed. An elegant dinner and special announcements from GRF round out an evening of glamour and entertainment.
